Cool Stuff #3 - Shaders

So here are some of the more difficult tasks I've completed these past 7 months; big general purpose shaders for UDK.

Without going into any details on specifically what they do, they're all made to significantly simplify the workflow of models etc once inside the UDK.

Small update on CV90

Sooo.. Instead of spending the weekend chilling or drinking, it was spent packing the UV for the CV90. I wouldn't say I'm done... Cause everyone knows a UV map always can be optimized further, but I've almost reached the point where I can say I'm sattisfied. :)

Another update!

This is a Prop for a project i'm working on, turned out pretty nice :)

Lowpoly is about 5.5k (Can't remember exactly!), the highpoly used to create the wooden texture was .. around 45 million polys :P

Anyways, here are the pics rendered fresh out of Maya.

CV 90 Basemesh/Lowpoly

Hiho folks!

Again, It's been quite some time since I updated this blod.. Tbh, It's been a hell of a 2 months :P Average out 15-16 hours work every weekday, and almost as much on the weekends. But it's finaly calming down - A bit!

Anyways, when I wasn't working I put together this CV9040 AFV! It's rather high-detailed at about 16k Tris, but I wanted the additional details in the mesh itself (and not only in the yet-to-come Normal Map!)

I haven't gotten that much sleep, but as yone would say in Swedish "Som man bäddar får man ligga".. Google it :P

EVE Online Dominix redesign Sculpt

So! Been some time since I last updated the blog (like.. a few days :P ), but I've been kept busy with other projects! (Shader creation in UDK!!!)

Anyway, here's the high poly sculpt for the redesigned dominix. I think it turned out quite well, of course it's not perfect.. But It'll look good as a normal map!
